From left to right, top to bottom--
1) "Our Bodies and How We Live"  The name comes from the 1901 physiology textbook from which the anatomical illustrations came.  Arrayed around the outside are discs from a vintage cookie gun.  I'm actually not sure what that central disc is.  It's aluminum and came from a the Arcata Salvage yard.
2) "Extra Texture"   Yes, it was the name of a George Harrison album (and not his best.)  This eye catching piece is all wood, with some very precise spray painting.  I'm kind of exploring that territory between painting and sculpture.  (It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.)
3) I called it "Mirror Mirror."  But my friend in Eureka, who is now it's proud owner called it "Dartboard," so I guess I'll go with that.  Those are little mirrors in each of the outer holes and a larger one in the middle.  It's made of heavy duty industrial plastic backed by a wooden disc.  Psychedelia lives!
4) "Remedial Gymnastics"  A shadow boxy thing.  The buttock (singular) is an old doctor's display courtesy of drug maker Merck.  And that's a little electrical generator from a high school science class in the corner.  I like the limited color palette, and the hanging vintage croquet ball Theres a lot going on here--too much to explain.  I don't know if its entirely successful -- just don't call it "half-assed."
